Calderwood Home Inspections is a family owned, full service residential home inspection company; and this is our story. My wife and I owned a successful construction company for fourteen years. During that time, while busy raising our four amazing kids, we built many multi and single family dwellings from the ground up, making friends with homeowners, realtors, and everyone in-between! We took pride in our work. We were, and still are, experts in the entire building process. The one part of the process that was consistently underwhelming, was the home inspection. I found that time and time again, the home inspectors that my homeowners were using had little to no construction experience at all! They came from all walks of life; from truck driver, to sales person; from teacher to warehouse manager, it didn't matter. These guys (all great people) could just take a test, hold a clipboard with a check list on it, and they were home inspectors. We decided to do our part to change that, and thus, Calderwood Home Inspections was born!
